To enhance the payoff work management of rural migrant workers, the MCC Guizhou Ziyun-Wangmo Expressway General Contracting Project Management Department invited related personnel from the Ziyun County Public Security Bureau and Human Resources and Social Security Bureau Labor Supervision Group to form a work team, enter the front line of construction and publicize, guide and inspect the payoff work of rural migrant workers.
At 10:00 a.m. on November 17th, after a simple discussion at the site of the Ziyun-Wangmo Third Branch Project Department, the work team went to the Daping Tunnel construction site and randomly inquired about the rural migrant workers’ monthly payoff time and form, whether the sum is enough and other matters, and patiently publicized and interpreted the current relevant national policies and measures on rural migrant workers’ rights. In the afternoon, the work team successively visited the precast beam field, roadbed second team and other work teams to make random inquiries. At the inquiry site, the work team answered the questions that rural migrant workers care about in detail, specifically introduced the sources and procedures for defending their rights, publicly released the Labor Supervision Group’s phone number and obtained their warm applause.
At 3:00 p.m., the work team convened a summary meeting at the site of the Ziyun-Wangmo Third Branch Project Department. At the meeting, Ziyun-Wangmo Third Branch Project Department Secretary Feng Zengmin made a brief report on the rural migrant worker work. The work team highly recognized the supervision work of the Project Department’s construction team and required the Project Department to plan the payoff affairs of all key nodes in advance, specially emphasizing that they should ensure that the workers are paid before Spring Festival.
The MCC Guizhou Ziyun-Wangmo Expressway General Contracting Project Management Department highly values the payoff affairs of rural migrant workers, emphasized the improvement of ideological understanding at the meeting many times, and fully understood the significance of maintaining the overall situation of the payoff of rural migrant workers. It is necessary to improve consciousness and strictly implement the Guizhou Company and Ziyun-Wangmo Project Company’s relevant document requirements. All project branches are required to closely communicate with local relevant government departments according to their own actual situations, publicize and implement policies for rural migrant workers’ payoff, check and solve existing problems, and continuously perfect and optimize the rural migrant workers’ payoff system.
In addition, the MCC Guizhou Ziyun-Wangmo Expressway General Contracting Project Management Department strictly implements a work attendance checking system, widely uses electronic checking machines in their work teams, forms an information system integrating electronic checking, ID and bank cards, ensures checking accuracy, effectively protects rural migrant workers’ rights and creates sound conditions for project construction.
